🎉 Big News! 🎉

Dear Valued Patients,

I hope this message finds you well. I am excited to announce that after seven years in our current location in Alexandria, I am relocating my direct primary care practice to a new office space beginning May 2024.

Our new office is situated in the Fairlington Office Park in Arlington, just 10 minutes away from our original location. While our current space has been a quaint hub for my medical practice, we have simply outgrown it. The new office provides us with a larger, modern space that will better accommodate our growing needs and a more comfortable and inviting setting for patient consultations.

My vision is for our office to continue to feel unlike a typical institutional medical environment and more like a welcoming, relaxed place to get some help and advice.  And, there are multiple businesses in the complex that can collaborate with me on your health, including family therapy, acupuncture, dentistry, a weight management center, and a chiropractic practice.

I want to reassure all our house call members that your memberships will remain unaffected. For any patients on an office membership, please be aware that any appointments scheduled after May 1st will be at the new address below:

She is the host of the My DPC Story podcast, which features inspirational stories from doctors who are currently providing Direct Primary Care to patients. She is also a board-certified Family Medicine physician and the owner/CEO of Big Trees MD in Calaveras County, CA.

Flu Shots Available Now

At MODERN Mobile Medicine, we are excited to announce that our seasonal flu shots are now available! Take proactive steps to protect yourself and your loved ones this flu season by scheduling your appointment with us today. Our flu shots are preservative-free and quadrivalent, providing you with comprehensive protection against different strains of the flu. Don't wait until it's too late – prioritize your health and book your flu shot with us now. Stay healthy, stay safe!

• These appointments are for flu shot only. If you have a medical concern, you must schedule a regular appointment with Dr. Haden.

• If you would like your family vaccinated at the same time, please schedule a brief office visit or house call instead. (visit fees apply for non-members)

• Seasonal influenza vaccine for ages 6 month and over. High dose for seniors not available.

• $35 for members, $45 for non-members.

Holiday Hours

The practice will be closed Dec 24th through Jan 1st. Please submit all refill requests before this time. On-call care for our members will be available for urgent matters only. Call your doctor directly if you have an urgent medical concern and leave a voicemail. Routine refills and requests will resume with appointments January 2nd.

Welcome Beth Sutton, RN to MMMed

I am very happy to announce that Beth Sutton, RN has joined my team.  Some of you have already had the pleasure of meeting Beth in recent weeks, but I wanted to formally introduce her to the rest of you. 

Beth is a Registered Nurse with a background in acute and family care. She has most recently served as a School Nurse at St. John Academy in McLean.  She is also enrolled in the Family Nurse Practitioner Program at Sacred Heart University in Connecticut, with an expected graduation date of December 2021.   

Beth is part time for now, but she has been an immense help already. She is assisting me with triage of acute concerns on Spruce and the patient portal, administering immunizations, performing COVID-19 testing, helping with referrals, appointment follow up, and monitoring of chronic conditions such as hypertension and diabetes.  She can administer IV fluids and will soon be able to collect labs.
